Tech boobie
The Chronicles of Narnia hit the stores today for the first time. I had a couple of gift cards from dear daughter which I’ve been saving against that time. Mid-morning I left the house and went to Hastings to use them. When I got there and looked around, there it was. A sealed package with the goods inside. At that point I realized I had gotten the cards out to look them over to see if there was any penalty since I’d had them since Christmas. None. But they were still on the computer desk at home. A quick drive home and back and I had the goods. When Pete came home his first question was something to effect that you can’t play this on your TV. It’s for a PSP (or something like that). It probably wasn’t even the movie. I had just seen “Narnia” on the rack and assumed it was what I was looking for. So much for my technology IQ! Fortunatly I hadn’t opened the goods so I took it back, the sales lady (girl) asked if she could help and I explained what had happened and that I wanted a CD. The next question was - “Music or movie” and then - “Wide screen or full screen?” I got the full screen and now am waiiting for the spirit to move as to the right time to sit down and watch it. Pete has already seen in at the theater so I don't have to wait for him.

I almost got past the first scene before my eyes started to leak. But, then, that is another story.
I still wouldn't mind seeing again with you, but no need to wait if I'm not around when the spirit moves. ;-)
Thanks for the laugh. It really sounds like something my folks would do. :-)
