More Heart Stuff
I was finishing up the dishes (with only my own most of the time they usually only get washed every other day or so). I looked up on the window sill above the sink and there were the 4-5 small bottles filled with glass marbles. Just another of the many "decoration" ploys Betty used. She was somehow fascinated with marbles - and small bottles. There are a number of those still around the house, most with a bowed ribbon around them. I've been playing around on the computer this evening so played again her solo, "How Great Thou Art" which I recorded back in 1972 when she was preparing with her Aunt Elsie to sing at the Ceredo Baptist Church. We had stopped to visit the Clarkson family there after a Taylor Family reunion at Blackwater Falls. There is not a day goes by I do not remember her, and the joy she brought to my life in over 56 years of marriage. And now, even the memories are filled with joy.
