Snow Day

Well, it was only 5 inches here in Billings. We all went to school anyway. Even I, myself, went to the class I am auditing at Rocky Mountain College. It is sponsored by the Institute for Peace Studies of which I am a Board member and Secretary. The lecture today was entitled "Whose Tomorrow" and dealt with problems in the past such as the Great Depression and what was done in the face of despair and controversy to make sure that there would be a "tomorrow". Now, what is to be done to assure the people of Iraq that they may have a tomorrow?

The title of this muse has to do with the fact that one of our 4 major high schools has had to cancel classes today and on Friday because of a busted water main that flooded the boiler room and other areas of Skyview High. And these days are traditional end of semester test days. Oh well. Somebody will figure it out. I don't have to.

How about that? I checked the spelling and the only word highlighted was "skyview". Spellcheck wanted to hyphenate it. As if I know how to spell - hyphenate.

If it snowed 5 inches here, it would completely paralzye the city. Heck, 1 inch paralyzes the city.

We always close when we have no wather. It's a health hazard or something. No water to wash or flush or . . .
