Good eats

Got this from a Blogger who I check regularly. It's a Montana Omelette. I drool, but do not indulge. After all those aren't Egg Beaters. I was thinking of lunch today, and the universal PBJ came to mind. After all, there is grape and strawberry jelly in the fridge. I've eaten peanut butter with a lot of toppings. Pickles, banana, etc. And then I though of the small sandwich grill sitting on the stove and remembered a Mr. Food item from several years ago. "Are there any marshmallows around?" And there they were. A few small ones in a nearly empty bag. Why not? A grilled peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich. It was delicious. And, Phillipa, the Skippy has palm oil not soy.

Nice to know about the Skippy not having soy. Too bad it doesn't have peanuts either! That's the other "biggie" on the "no-no! allergic" list - along with all the other delicious legumes God created (sugar snap peas, string beans right off the vine, kidney beans, red beans, chick peas, etc.)

Sigh. I never thought I'd say this, but I miss pbj sandwiches.

No PBJ? What a tragic loss. I grew up on PBJ and it is still my number one comfort food.

I can still remember the #10 size cans of Planters Peanut butter, and the 5 pound jars of Welches Grape jelly. Yummm....
